About me

Data Science (Computational Biology) and Machine Learning

I have always been fascinated by the world of biology, specifically genetics. My other passion for coding drove me to learn Machine Learning. By combining my two passions, I found the realm of Data Science and Bioengineering, where computer programming meets biology. I want to create a world where the rates of prevalent diseases can be decreased because of the interdisciplinary collaboration between people and machines.

My ultimate dream is to improve data analysis and treatment of diseases through revolutionary improvements in biomedical technologies and computational analysis.

Computational Biology is a rising power because of the recent improvements in data collection in the fields of genomics and biomedical imaging/technology. The resulting surplus of biological data requires the use of advanced computational tools to build integrated models of biological processes that can be used to prevent or treat disease.

My Background.

I am currently a Junior at Arizona State Univeristy double majoring in Biomedical Engineering and Data Science. I am interested in data analysis, as well as biotechnology.
